They work with student athletes on injury prevention as well as guiding students back to health should an injury occur.
The certified trainers attend practices and games for each men’s and women’s sport. Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools and Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist partner together to provide athletic trainers at every traditional high school in the district.
